Although Colin Minihan (It Stains the Sands Red, Grave Encounters) revealed his next feature-length film at SXSW this past weekend, fans of his work can get a taste of what the film has to offer upon viewing the movie’s tidbit of a trailer.
The film, which was notably the only LGBT-entry in the SXSW Midnighters section, follows a female couple, Hannah Emily Anderson (Jigsaw, Dark Phoenix) and Brittany Allen (It Stains the Sands Red), on their one-year anniversary. Although the trailer is short and sweet, it hints at a romance-gone-wrong-in-the-woods plot.
The film’s other notable stars include Martha MacIsaac (Superbad, Unicorn Store, Battle of the Sexes) and Joey Klein (TV’s 12 Monkeys).
What Keeps You Alive premiered at SXSW 2018, but does not have a wide release date as of this posting.
