Michael Gross (Tremors, Tremors II: Aftershocks, Tremors 3: Back to Perfection, Tremors the Series, Tremors 4: The Legend Begins) returns as Burt Gummer, the gun enthusiast/giant worm expert. He’s joined by Jaime Kennedy (Scream, Malibu’s Most Wanted) who’s playing Travis Welker. The new brains of the operation who will most likely teching things up for the modern audience.
Honestly, if you’re not keeping your expectations low for a Tremors film, you need to reevaluate. The magic of its original has been soiled so many times in the twenty-six years, & I’m not sure there’s any good left to unearth. This is actually the second swing at part five of this franchise. In 2010, Tremors 5: The Thunder Down Under started production, but was quickly buried. It was rumored to have a similar plot to Bloodlines, but based in Australia instead of Africa.
