A trendy clothing company is getting ready to debut an innovative new denim technology, ‘The Super Shaper’. The jeans are touted to automatically flatter your body shape but instead end up giving “Killer Butts” a whole different meaning. Shipped to the flagship store for its release, a possessed pair of denim unleashes carnage on the staff locked in for the night.

Ok, I’ll be frank. This looks silly, but it’s about a pair of murderous, animatronic jeans. The film wants to be silly. But even so, the tone is obviously hammy and a little campy. And that’s ok, I could watch a light hearted horror right now. That being said, the film does seem to try to ‘fit’ (ha) in some commentary about the real cost of fashion. They definitely have an opportunity to really say something here, but both intents are so divergent it’s yet to be decided if it works.
