Joel Potrykus (Director of Buzzard, The Alchemist Cookbook) is at it again, this time bringing the most insanity.
Doom and gloom are on the way. The Y2K apocalypse can’t be stopped. Abbie’s older brother issues him the ultimate challenge before it goes down: beat the infamous level 256 in Pac-Man and no getting up from the couch until he does so. Abbie’s survival story begins here; inside a rotting living room with no food or water, and a revolving door of numb-nut friends and acquaintances. It’s THE EXTERMINATING ANGEL by way of SLACKER.
Abbie and Cam are brothers. Cam challenges Abbie to beat the infamous Level 256 of Pac-Man, with one catch: he can’t leave the couch until he does. What appears to be a single location set, with revolving characters coming in and out, the film will be anything but boring. You have Faygo, N64, analog camcorder, TV/VCR combos, and red/blue 3D glasses…pure 90’s nostalgia for older Millennials. If you’re in the mood to test your cinematic limits, and feel like audibly saying “WTF” multiple times, throw this on and enjoy the ride.
