A couple loses their daughter in a peculiar disappearance and is trying to move on. But after moving into a new home provided by his work where he can continue his 10-year research into a particular shortwave radio signal they’ve been studying, things go from bad to worse for Isabel (Ringing) who has been suffering with mental issues after being unable to cope with her daughter’s disappearance.
Communication from any sort of beyond is a long running theme in horror. Radios, TV static, Ouija boards and more have all served as antenna to ten kinds of other sides. So it’s far too early to say that this will be groundbreaking in that regard. What is evident in this trailer though is that the movie is going to be visually impressive, with strong direction, cinematography, and coloration. It’s indie horror in top form, and definitely to be looked forward to.
