Graham Skipper’s ‘Sequence Break’ Isn’t Playing Around

A reclusive video arcade technician experiences bizarre biomechanical mutations and hallucinations when a mysterious new arcade machine appears in his shop.

Shudder is at it again with their latest exclusive film, Sequence Break. Part techie sci-fi, part love story (though the Tron-esque basis for the film seems strong enough on its own), this trailer shows us dark warehouses, neon lights, and a small cast of characters, one of which has a plant-like entity taking over his body. It might be wise to read up on the lore of Polybius before viewing this, as the trailer alludes to a strong comparison between the plot and the mysterious myth.

Sequence Break premieres on Shudder on May 24.
