The path to Heaven meets the road to hell as a dangerous zealot battles the detective trying to bring him down.
Director Drew Hall’s Convergence is a supernatural drama that follows a detective as his search for a terrorist bomber takes him in an unexpected direction.
Detective Ben Walls is called into action after an explosion at a local women’s health clinic. While investigating the scene, another shocking event lands Ben himself in the hospital. When he awakens, surprisingly uninjured, Ben soon finds himself hunted by a self-proclaimed avenging angel who may be the terrorist he has been looking for, and haunted by apparitions whose deadly motives remain a mystery. As Ben’s sense of reality begins to spiral out of control and the demons that surround him close in, he must find a way to both stop the supernatural forces that want him dead and catch the bomber before he strikes again.
The film stars Clayne Crawford (Rectify, A Walk to Remember), Ethan Embry (Cheap Thrills, The Walking Dead), Mykelti Williamson (Forest Gump, Con Air), Chelsea Bruland (Left Behind), Gary Grubbs (JFK), Laura Cayouette (Django Unchained), and Catalina Soto-Aguilar (Sons of Liberty).
The trailer is full of explosions, punches, kicks, slaps, stabs, and…ghosts? Certainly a melting pot of genres, Convergence promises to keep you guessing at every turn.
Convergence will be available in select theaters on February 5th, and on blu-ray, DVD, and VOD February 9th.
