A country music duo seek out the private mansion of their idol and end up in a twisted series of horrors that force them to confront the limits they’d go for their dreams.
By the premise alone, Torn Hearts has a lot going for it. The lust for fame, the Nashville music scene, and the intrigue of a reclusive former star all make for a compelling narrative. Giving it a horror twist is a cherry on top, and what looks to be a pretty delicious one. It’s a cat-and-mouse-and-mouse horror show, with a mix of daylight and neon. In short, it’s all the makings of a good, splattery time.
