Blood Runs Cold in ‘Dead Night’ Trailer

James and his wife Casey load up their two teenage kids and head out to a remote cabin in Oregon for a weekend trip. When James heads into the snowy forest in search of firewood, he encounters an enigmatic woman passed out in the snow. Bringing her back to the cabin for help, the family has no way of knowing that the woman’s presence is the catalyst for a series of events that will change their lives forever.

Directing newcomer Bradford Baruh has joined forces with producer Andy Myers (John Dies at the End) and Dark Sky Films to bring viewers Dead Night. Giving off blizzard ridden Overlook vibes, the film stars AJ Bowen (You’re Next), Brea Grant, Sophie Dalah, Elise Luthman, Joshua Hoffman, Daniel Roebuck and everyone’s favorite, Barbara Crampton. The dimly-lit trailer features some intense over-acting but it all seems to even out when Crampton enters the frame, grounding the plot with her experience within the genre. For those of us who deal with snow on a regular basis, the fear of being stranded in feet of snow is real.

Dead Night will see a VOD and limited theatrical release (theaters listed below, with more to come) beginning July 27, 2018.

New York, NY – Cinema Village
Houston, TX – Alamo Drafthouse
