An unexpectedly good found-footage film from the comedian-turned-director Bobcat Goldthwait, this 80-minute film is definitely worth seeing. The story centers around a young bigfoot enthusiast and his girlfriend as they venture into the woods of Northern California to find the place where the (in)famous Patterson-Gimlin footage of bigfoot was shot in 1967. The high point is an almost 20-minute-long, well-acted, single-shot scene in which the two main characters are terrorized by noises and movement in the woods around their tent. Despite the obvious fact that the film is quite close in plot to The Blair Witch Project, I would still give it a solid 4/5 stars.
