The tragedy of last episode’s conclusion bleeds into the opening of “Our Town, Our Rules” – no pun intended. The story continues to develop without a single dull moment, and the mood grows increasingly consistent with the odd feeling you have when waking up from an utterly confusing but disturbingly realistic dream. On the nightmare end of things, we get another taste of the most terrifying nurse and the least just sherriff in television history. We also experience an interesting plot development when Ethan encounters some very unexpected guests in Wayward Pines. My favorite quote of the episode: “I promise you, everyone is doing the best that they can.”
