When a masked killer with seemingly supernatural capabilities begins crashing Halloween parties and wreaking havoc on a yearly basis, the one cop who believes the crimes are linked must track down the perpetrator whilst struggling to be believed by his comrades. This is a slasher. It’s not very meaty. Well…there’s some meat. The dialogue is forced, unnatural, and inauthentic. Every interaction between two characters is painfully awkward. The first third of the film is essentially a farce of a cookie-cutter procedural cop drama. The action ramps up significantly in the third act, which was a major turning point for me in terms of enjoyment. If you happen upon this lighthearted slasher, it may be a fun background watch during the Halloween season, but skip the hassle of seeking it out.
