The Last Heist tells the story of a bank robbery gone horribly awry when the criminals discover that one of their hostages is notorious serial killer “Windows,” (Henry Rollins) named for his disturbing practice of removing his victims’ eyes and keeping them as souvenirs. The film might’ve been more compelling had it focused more on the “Windows” character and less on the heist itself. The serial killer aspect seemed like more of an afterthought, making the film feel very disjointed with all of its intertwining storylines. Rollins’ performance, however, far outshined his fellow cast members. The movie itself, unfortunately, lacked that same shine. For the everyday horror fan, this film may not be for you, but for true Rollins fans, check out The Last Heist in select theaters June 17th.
