This is arguably one of the weakest episodes of season two, but it’s no fault of the episode. Simply put, it felt like the first half of a two-parter, just without the second part. Nearly every character shows up at some point and there’s enough clues for Noah to start a brand new Murder Board. It has everything a good episode should have—drama, tension, and a body count. But being the penultimate episode of this season, its purpose seemed to be to set up the finale, not to do its own thing. As far as that goes, it served as an excellent support, but was less enjoyable as a standalone because it so clearly serves the next episode. That being said, it did a great job of narrowing the focus, and is sure to be a nice lead into the finale, even if most viewers already feel certain of the killer’s true identity.
