Kyle and Reverend Anderson find a new possessed person (an old woman alienating her family with rude comments), but she’s been in that state for years. Although this follows the demon of the week formula, the cunning of the experienced demon bars them from exorcising her without looking crazy. It makes for a new problem to overcome and shows how they can infiltrate someone’s life without completely destroying it. The man in black subtly approaches our heroes. Megan continues to deal with a past abuser coming back to down. At first, his presence seems to overwhelm her. As the episode goes on, her inner rage is revealed, giving me a completely different view of her. The ending shows that violence isn’t just a product of evil in a tragic, emotional scene. Heavy repercussions are sure to follow.
