A 666-Character Review Of ‘Frankenstein (1931)’

Young scientist Henry Frankenstein gets in over his head when piecing together the perfect human doesn’t go as planned. Pre-reanimation, hunchbacked assistant, Fritz, makes the grave mistake acquiring a criminal brain. You know, one with a history of brutality, violence, and murder. Several tesla coils later, the Monster IS ALIVE. Some misunderstanding, mistreatment, and inherited malevolence later, things spiral into chaos. This being my first viewing, I finally understand. The unflinching actions of this grotesque creature are chilling to say the least. Atmospheric, creepy, and consistently unsettling, this horror classic continues to pass the test of time.
