Domain, created by Nathaniel Atcheson, follows 6 main characters, named after the cities they reside in, who now live in secluded underground dwellings following a massive, lethal epidemic. Connected via livestream video, they are able to converse despite living states apart. Paranoia sets in as mysterious disappearances take place, leading some to attempt to escape their rooms. Many of the films twists and turns are predictable, while others are quite unsettling. Including subpar acting performances (save for Chicago played by Cedric Sanders) and a script of cheesy, embarrassing cliches, Domain’s innovative plot points solely maintain the viewer’s interest.
