Sometimes in horror, what happens behind the camera ends up being more horrifying than what’s on the screen. Cursed Films investigates some of the most damned film production stories in genre film. Duh. From the controversial approach to the filming of the Exorcist, to the tragic negligence seen on the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie, viewers are sure to learn something in this series. Unlike the stale, urban legendy retellings fans may have head before, we’re taken on the scenic route. Some moments can feel meandering, but the captivating way this doc is filmed and the interviewees featured (involved directly or experts otherwise) is undeniably fascinating.
