Bang Bang Baby tells the story of Stepphy, a teenager with dreams of stardom who runs into her idol Bobby Shore after his car breaks down in her town. It appears that all of her dreams are finally coming true. Until, that is, a toxic spill starts turning all of the townspeople into mutants. A lot of fun, albeit decidedly strange. Whimsical, yet surreal, forcing the viewer to question if what they’re seeing is dream or reality. The cast is fantastic, & does a great job turning this sci-fi story into a zany musical. I certainly enjoyed this film, however, it was a bit too much musical, & not enough mutants for my taste. All the same, definitely worth a watch.
