Henry’s getting married, and there’s no better way to celebrate than a weekend away with the guys. But as horror so often goes, what starts out fun goes downhill fast. It isn’t an original concept by any means, hikers finding themselves in a horrific situation, but the tweaks made to the overall story, as well as the technical execution make up for it. It’s a visually pleasant viewing experience, and has some fantastic performances. The cast shared great chemistry and had some strong group dynamics working for them. However, the film isn’t flawless. Things ends abruptly, and after only 86 minutes, with a scene that will no doubt be divisive among viewers. It’s a horror comedy that weaves the two well, even if the latter features a little more prominently, and is certainly a fun enough watch.
