An unidentified man in Green Bay, WI has captured worldwide attention for roaming the streets dressed as a clown. Many write it off as a harmless prank, others aren’t so sure. When a group of friends cross paths with the clown everyone calls Gags, his true intentions are revealed.
Gags the Clown draws on the recent but seemingly distant phenomenon of creepy clowns scattered across America. The trailer has some promise to it, teasing it the multiple storylines and how they might converge. It’s hard to judge from so few seconds of film, but this looks to be a fun experience that knows exactly what it is: creepy clown fun.
This is the first feature length effort of writer/director Adam Krause. It features the talents of friend of the podcast, Lauren Ashley Carter (The Woman, Jug Face, Darling), Tracy Perez (Charlie Says), Aaron Christiansen (Dead Weight), and Evan Gamble (Fear the Walking Dead).
Gags the Clown will be available on VOD September 3rd.
